Together Under the Crown

A support circle for mothers navigating children’s—primarily adult children’s—mental health challenges

There are journeys you don’t choose, only find yourself on. Loving a child who struggles with mental illness—especially in adulthood—can be isolating, exhausting, and emotionally complex. Together Under the Crown exists so mothers do not have to navigate this terrain alone.

This is a weekly virtual support group created by Queens of the Desert for mothers supporting children with mental health disorders, including (but not limited to) bipolar disorder, narcissistic traits, and other personality disorders that make healthy relationships difficult to sustain.

Here, you are met with understanding—not explanations, not judgment. We speak the same language because we live this reality too.

What This Group Is

Together Under the Crown is a confidential, peer-supported space grounded in lived experience, compassion, and practical guidance. Our team members are mothers and caregivers who are actively navigating these challenges themselves, bringing a deeply human, first-hand perspective to every conversation.

In addition, this group is supported by over 15 years of professional case management experience, allowing us to help participants think strategically about boundaries, communication, resources, and self-preservation while honoring the emotional weight of motherhood.

This is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health treatment. It is support for you—the mother who has been carrying too much for too long.
